The search is over! We have a new Priest!  We are pleased to announce that Fr. Marc Dobson will become the 5^th rector of Good Shepherd.  His first Sunday will be June 16^th, Father’s Day.  Come join us to welcome Fr. Marc and his wife, Elizabeth! You can read more about Fr. Summertime is only a few months away! The Episcopal Diocese of Dallas invites you to check out Camp All Saints on Lake Texoma. There are several camps scheduled this summer for kids from grades 3-12 along with some other special events and retreats. VIsit their new website for more details: http://campallsaints.com.

Easter is just around the corner! Here’s our schedule for Holy Week this year:

Palm Sunday (March 24th): 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services with Palms. The 10:30 service will process from the parish hall.

Maundy Thursday (March 28th): 7 p.m. service, ending with the stripping of the altar

Good Friday (March 29th): 7 p.m. service

Easter Sunday (March 31st): The Rite 1 (spoken) service begins at 8:00 a.m. At 9:30 a.m., we will have a special Easter brunch in the parish hall. The Rite 2 (choral) service begins at 10:30 a.m. and includes baptisms. There will be an Easter egg hunt for the children after the 10:30 service.

We will be having a special brunch on Easter morning at 9:30 a.m. You can sign up for the potluck on perfectpotluck.com (please see your eblast or church bulletin or call us at 972-291-4528 for more information). See you there!
