Wycliffe and GIAL

From our humble beginnings we have been blessed by the presence of Wycliffe missionaries among us. Whether on sabbatical or working at GIAL or the International Linguistics Center, these individuals have been an asset to our congregation.

Shepherds Outreach Network

Recently, we were presented with a need from Shepherds Outreach Network concerning the work of Sonam in India. Sonam, his family and their work in India have been closely connected to our parish for many years. We were pleased to use some existing funds set aside for missions to help establish children’s homes.

Local Outreach

Hope Mansion

Hope Mansion is the 3-story house on the west side of Hwy 67 that is being renovated to be a ministry to house and train women who are in a crisis pregnancy. It is a project of the Transformation Vision for Cedar Hill. In March, several parishioners from Good Shepherd volunteered to help with cleaning and renovations at Hope Mansion. A gift was also sent to Hope Mansion from a special offering taken on Good Friday, 2011. Contact us if you would like to help out with the Hope Mansion project.
